Bebop Major Scale
This deals with another version of an 8 note scale. The bebop major scale is used to generate musical ideas in the style of Charlie Parker, one of the founding fathers of Bebop. Variations of the scale are presented in a step by step fashion illustrating how it evolves from sounding somewhat mechanical to creating interesting ideas that contain non-scalar notes, changes in direction, variation in line shape and displacement.
